The Welsh Governments response to Covid-19 last year provided opportunities to families, young people and children through funding the successful Summer of Fun and Winter of Wellbeing campaigns.
This year, the aim is to build on the success and provide funding to help with the rising cost of living with an aim to keeping children and young people safe and engage them in physical activity.
Actif have been working on projects behind the scenes and one of these is a project to provide free activities to children between the ages of 11 and 16 to break down barriers to physical activity and increase provision available to this age group each Friday evening throughout August.
The initial project will take place in Amman Valley Leisure Centre where Actif welcome children from across the County for a variety of sessions including Dodgeball, 5-a-side football, Aqua Stand Up®, Fitness Classes, Basketball and pool inflatables.
Sessions are bookable on Eventbrite, click here to browse and book our events.
