Providing opportunity for your child to become confident and motivated to take part in physical activity from an early ages through a fun Actif story time session and then transferring into the swimming pool to provide an early introduction to core aquatic skills in the water.
Actif Storytime sessions are about getting children aged 1 – 3 years active, increasing their basic fundamental skills (agility, balance and coordination) from a young age through story time.
It’s about bringing stories alive through fun and games and then transferring the activity in the swimming pool and introducing the concept of play with purpose in the water.
N.B. Adults must accompany their child throughout the activity, dry side and in the water.
Make sure you bring suitable clothing for being in the water and for your child to be physically active during story time, we recommend children wear suitable footwear, such as trainers.
Who is this for?
These sessions are suitable for children aged 1 - 3 years old.
How long is the session?
Each session is 1 hr long with story time first, followed by up to 30 minutes water-based activity.

Llanelli Leisure Centre: Tuesday 1.30pm - 2.30pm
Carmarthen Leisure Centre: Tuesday 2.00pm - 3.00pm
