Junior Gym

Children aged 11-13 years can enjoy full use of our fitness suites (must be accompanied by parent or guardian)

Start your teenager off on the road to well-being and to the benefits of fitness by introducing them to one of our gyms. There are so many benefits, including;

  • maintaining a healthy weight,
  • feeling more energetic, and
  • boosting fitness levels.

Our gyms have Life Fitness equipment with integrated TV and entertainment systems.

11 to 13 year olds must be supervised by an adult 18 or above when attending the gym or classes. 14+ can attend unsupervised, however a gym induction must be completed before use with an adult present.

11 to 13 year olds can access:

Cardiovascular machines and fixed pin loaded resistance machines can be used with exclusion from the Free weight training zone. Guidance will be provided in the fitness induction outlining the appropriate exercises for member goals.

Other activities

We also have fitness classes suitable for 11-13 years such as Zumba, Jungle Body Konga and Synrgy classes (selected classes)

Supervised junior classes are available for children as outlined on the fitness class timetable. These sessions are supervised by our group exercise instructors who are qualified in adapting and modifying training to adolescence.
