Peniel Panthers are a thriving community club that give opportunity for young people to participate in football.
With the suspension of football in March due to the Coronavirus, Panthers have found it challenging to fund raise the money needed to provide, new kit for players, hire an indoor facility in preparation for the winter and purchasing essential personal protective equipment.
Through the Panthers successful Be Actif Wales Fund application they will now be able to purchase essential cleaning products to ensure sessions are delivered safely thanks to receiving £1563. The Peniel Panthers community football club engage and develop many young people, ensuring they’re on the pathway to be Actif for life.
This funding will allow their good practise and community engagement to continue.
If your club would like to apply for funding and require support, please get in touch with the Actif Communities Team or by visiting the COVID-19 support - Be Actif Wales Fund webpage.
